(2381) Landi ( 1976 AF ; 1951 EG 1 ; 1953 QP ; 1968 FF ; 1970 SD ; 1978 NN 3 ) is an approximately 13-kilometer asteroid of the central main belt , which was found on January 3, 1976 at the Felix Aguilar Observatory in the National Park El Leoncito was discovered in the province of San Juan in Argentina ( IAU code 808). It belongs to the Eunomia family, a group of asteroids named after (15) Eunomia .
designation
(2381) Landi was named after Jorge Landi Dessy , who was director of the Observatorio Astronómico de Córdoba (IAU code 822) in Argentina and vice president of the Argentine Association of Astronomy . His main areas of research were astronomical optics and photometry, as well as magellanic clouds .
