Åsa Lif (born July 26, 1990 ) is a Swedish biathlete .

Åsa Lif lives in Östersund and works for Lima IF . She is trained by Roger Westling . In 2011 she moved up to the Swedish A-squad, since 2012 she has been part of the development squad. She contested her first international races as part of the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2007 in Otepää . In the cross-country races she reached ranks 30 in the sprint and 28 in the mass start race, on roller skis 20th in the sprint and 21st in the pursuit. Since the 2007/08 season she took part in the junior races of the European and IBU Cups . In 2009 the first participation in the Junior World Championships followed in Canmore . In the sprint she was 34th, in pursuit and individual 33rd and with Ingela Andersson and Marielle Molander in the ninth season. A year later , Lif in Torsby was 40th in the individual, 30th in the sprint, 33rd in the pursuit and 12th in the relay race. In 2011 the Swede started in Nové Město na Moravě at her third Junior World Championship. In the individual, she was 25th, 34th in the sprint, 41st in the pursuit and 14th in the relay.

In 2008 Lif first started in the women's competitions in the IBU Cup. In her first sprint in Idre she was 64th. Rank 53 in the following sprint in the same place is her best position in the series so far. At the start of the 2012/13 season , she made her debut in Östersund in the Biathlon World Cup . In the first sprint she reached 88th place. In the following sprint in Hochfilzen she missed the pursuit race as 61st by just one place. With the relay, she came in ninth place at the side of Elisabeth Högberg , Anna-Karin Strömstedt and Elin Mattsson as the final runner in the relay competition.

Between 2008 and 2010, Lif also competed in several international cross-country skiing races at junior level and in lower-class FIS races . Nationally she won the bronze medal at the Swedish Biathlon Championships in 2010 with the Limas relay.
