Élodie Bouchez
Élodie Bouchez (born April 5, 1973 in Montreuil in the Seine-Saint-Denis department ) is a French actress.
Life
She attended the Lycée Saint Thomas d'Aquin in Paris , which she graduated with a Baccalauréat (equivalent to the German Abitur). She then studied acting at the Université de Paris X in Nanterre . In 1990 she played her first film role in the film Stan the Flasher by Serge Gainsbourg . Her first major role followed in 1993 in The Stolen Diary . It was through this film that André Téchiné became aware of her, who offered her the female lead in Wilde Herzen . For this film she was awarded a César for best young actress in 1995 ("meilleur jeune espoir féminin"). In 1999, four years later, she received a César for best actress ("meilleure actrice") for her performance in Liebe das Leben .
Their son Tarrajay was born on January 22, 2002. His father is Thomas Bangalter from the French band Daft Punk . Today Élodie Bouchez is one of the most famous and popular actresses in France. In the fifth and final season of the American television series Alias - The Agent , she played the role of Renée Rienne. In the third and fourth seasons of the American series The L Word - When Women Love Women , Bouchez appears as the lover of the writer Jenny (played by Mia Kirshner ).
In 2017 she was selected as a jury member for the award of the Caméra d'Or at the 70th Cannes International Film Festival .
