Austrian Beach Volleyball Championship 2019

The Austrian Beach Volleyball Championship 2019 took place from 23 to 25 August 2019 in the Litzlberg lido in Seewalchen am Attersee . It formed the end of the Austrian Beach Volleyball Tour 2019 . Katharina Schützenhöfer and Lena Plesiutschnig won the women's final against Julia Radl and Katharina Almer . Third place went to Nadine Strauss and Teresa Strauss . In the men's category , Philipp Waller and Robin Seidl sat down against Martin Ermacora and Moritz Pristauz in the finalthrough, while Matthias Seiser and Moritz Kindl came third. The defending champions were Katharina Almer and Dani Fankhauser as well as Clemens Doppler and Alexander Horst .

Attendees

Sixteen duos each took part in the Austrian championship for men and women. 14 teams with the most points in the ÖVV ranking were qualified . The other places were filled with the Austrian U21 and U19 champions.

The tournament was played in the double knock-out mode. The winners received € 2,000 in prize money and 220 points for the ranking list. The teams placed next up to seventh place received prize money of € 1,500, € 1,000, € 600, € 300 and € 150. There were also from 200 points for the defeated finalists to 80 points for the last placed.
