(127546) 2002 XU 93 is a planetoid that was discovered by MW Buie on December 4, 2002 at Kitt Peak Spacewatch and belongs to the group of Trans-Neptunian objects . The asteroid orbit the sun in an eccentric orbit in 557 years . Its orbital eccentricity is 0.69, with this 77.93 ° inclined to the ecliptic . Until the discovery of 2008 KV 42 (Drac) it was the planetoid of our solar system with the highest known orbital inclination.

In 2010 a publication was published in which the surface colors of (127546) 2002 XU 93 , the visitor from the Oort cloud (342842) 2008 YB 3 and 2008 KV 42 were examined. It turned out that all three are moderately red in color.
