(17734) Boole is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 22 January 1998 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.
It was named on January 9, 2001 in honor of the English self-taught mathematician , logician and philosopher George Boole (1815–1864), who formulated the first algebraic logic calculus in his work The Mathematical Analysis of Logic in 1847 and thus the founder of the Booleans named after him Algebra became the foundation for the development of digital electronics.
