(44016) Jimmypage is a main middle belt asteroid discovered in Rolvenden , Kent ( IAU code 960) on November 30, 1997 by British amateur astronomer Mark Armstrong and his wife, amateur astronomer Claire Armstrong .
The asteroid belongs to the Adeona family, a group of asteroids named after (145) Adeona .
The mean diameter of (44016) Jimmypage was roughly calculated to be 9.513 ± 2.012 km and the albedo to be 0.171 ± 0.253.
The asteroid was named at the suggestion of Mark Armstrong on June 14, 2003 after Jimmy Page , the guitarist of the rock band Led Zeppelin .
