(6419) Susono is an asteroid of the outer main belt , of December 7, 1993 by the Japanese astronomers Makio Akiyama and Toshimasa Furuta at the observatory in Mishima ( IAU code 886) in the Shizuoka Prefecture was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the city of Susono in Shizuoka Prefecture .
