100 km European road running championships

The 100-km road race Championships are one since 1992 by the International Association of Ultra Runners (IAU) with a local host under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations IAAF aligned Ultramarathon -Wettkämpfe that as a road race will be held km over a distance of 100th The competition consists of individual and team country ratings, with the times of the top three runners per country being aggregated.

history

The European Championships were launched by the IAU five years after the World Championships over this distance. Until 2013 the European Championships took place annually and from 2007 to 2012 in parallel with the World Championships, with the European runners being rated separately for the continental competition.
