Judit Földing-Nagy

Judit Földing-Nagy (born Nagy ; born December 9, 1965 ) is a Hungarian long-distance runner who specializes in marathons .

In 1990 she won the Hamburg Marathon and the Reims Marathon and was fifth at the European Athletics Championships in Split . A second place followed in 1991 and a third place in 1992 in Hamburg. In 1993 she was fifth at the Paris Marathon , came 15th at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart and won again in Reims. The following year she won the Walt Disney World Marathon and was again fifth in Paris. In 1995 she defended her title at the Walt Disney World Marathon, won in Paris and took 23rd place at the World Championships in Gothenburg .

In 1996 she was fifth in Paris and fifth at the Berlin Marathon and was 36th at the Olympic Games in Atlanta . A year later she came third in Paris and came in 22nd at the World Cup in Athens . In 1998 she finished fifth in Paris, came 14th at the European Championships in Budapest and came second in the Venice Marathon .

In 1999 she finished second in the Turin Marathon and won the Lisbon Marathon . At the Olympic Games in Sydney the following year, she finished 17th. In 2001 she finished seventh in Paris and won the Monaco Marathon . In the following year a second place followed at the Prague Marathon and a tenth place at the European Championships in Munich . In 2003 she finished second in the Mont-Saint-Michel marathon and fourth in Venice and in 2004 tenth in Paris.

After becoming the national marathon champion in 1992, she won five more titles in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2007 and 2008 as the overall winner of the Budapest Marathon . In 2006 she won this race as well. In the half marathon she was a total of four times Hungarian champion (1997-1999, 2002).
