Career

society

Ömür was discovered as part of a scout program in which the young trainers held scout tournaments in local schools and was brought to the youth department of Trabzonspor , the club in his home province of Trabzon , in 2011 . Here he was able to develop better and was discovered for the Turkish national teams at the age of 13. There was also international interest in his extraordinary talent through the games he played for the Turkish national youth teams. Even during his youth, he was associated with top international clubs such as FC Bayern Munich or Manchester United , and comparisons such as "The New Messi " etc. were drawn in this context .

During the winter break of 2015/16, Hami Mandıralı , who was then interim coach at the time, Hami Mandıralı, made his professional debut in the cup match against Adanaspor on January 12, 2016 . Subsequently he continued to play mainly for the youth teams for the next time and only found stakes in cup games for professionals. On December 17, 2017, he finally made his first division debut in the league in a game against Istanbul Başakşehir . It was not until the 2017/18 season that he became an integral part of the professional team and fought for a regular place in the first half of the season.

National team

Ömür began his national team career in 2012 at the age of thirteen with a service for the Turkish U-14 national team . Then he went through almost all youth national teams in his country up to the U-21 national team.

In 2015, he hosted the Aegean Cup with the Turkish U-16 team and won the tournament.
