Yusuf Sari (born November 20, 1998 in Martigues ) is a Turkish - French football player .

Career

society

Sari joined the U-19 team of Olympique Marseille from FC Istres in the summer of 2015 . In January 2017 he made his debut for the Marseille B team in the fourth-highest division when he came on as a substitute for Jérémie Porsan-Clemente on matchday 16 of the 2016/17 season against FC Martigues in the 83rd minute . On the following day he was in the starting line-up for the first time against FC Hyères . At the end of the season he had twelve goalless appearances.

In August 2017, Sari was in the professional squad for the first time against AS Monaco , but was not used. He finally made his Ligue 1 debut in October 2017 when he was brought into the game for Florian Thauvin on matchday seven of the 2017/18 season against FC Toulouse in stoppage time .

In November 2017, Sari received a professional contract that runs until 2021.

In August 2018 he was awarded to the second division club Clermont Foot . He played his first game for Clermont in Ligue 2 in September 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Lorenzo Rajot on matchday seven of the 2018/19 season against AJ Auxerre in the 74th minute .

National team

The French-born Sari made his debut for the Turkish U-21 team in March 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Abdülkadir Ömür in the 80th minute of the European Championship qualifier against Sweden .
