Abierto Mexicano de Raquetas 2014

The Abierto Mexicano de Raquetas 2014 took place from September 18-21 , 2014 in Toluca de Lerdo , Mexico . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2014/15 and belonged to the International 70 category .

The defending champion was Grégory Gaultier , who did not run again. In the final, the brothers Mohamed and Mohamed Elshorbagy faced each other. The older, Mohamed, won the game 11: 3, 11: 3 and 11: 2.

The field of participants consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received César Salazar a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
