Ada is a small town (with the status " City ") and the administrative center of the Norman County in the US -amerikanischen State Minnesota . In 2010 Ada had 1707 inhabitants.

Ada is located in northwest Minnesota, about two kilometers north of the Wild Rice River , a right tributary of the Red River of the North . The geographical coordinates are 47 ° 17'59 "north latitude and 96 ° 30'55" west longitude. The city extends over an area of 3.6 km².
