The Austrian double eagle in the coat of arms reminds of this affiliation to this day. 1806 Adelhausen was assigned to the Grand Duchy of Baden to the office of Beuggen . At the end of the 18th century, Adelhausen received a community board that was under the command of the Vogt von Eichsel. The Catholics of Adelhausen were also ecclesiastically parish in Eichsel. In 1809 the village went to the office of Schopfheim , in 1969 to the district office of Lörrach and in 1939 it was assigned to the district of Lörrach .
