Adrian is a city in the Counties Emanuel and Johnson in the US state of Georgia with 664 inhabitants (as of 2010).

geography

Adrian is about 20 km west of Swainsboro and about 240 km southeast of Atlanta . The Ojhopee River flows in a northwest direction past Adrian. In the wooded area around Adrian there are several smaller lakes. According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has an area of ​​3.7 km², of which 3.6 km² is land and 0.1 km² (= 3.50%) is water.

history

Adrian received a post office for the first time in 1891 and was elevated to a political municipality in 1899.

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 664 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 262 inhabited households, which gives an average of 2.53 people per household. There are a total of 307 households.
