Namibia will take part in the African Games for the sixth time at the Africa Games 2011 in Maputo , Mozambique . The Namibian athletes were nominated by the local organizing committee headed by Shivute Edelberth Katamba and Ndeulipula Hamutumwa in consultation with the Namibian National Olympic Committee and the Namibian Sports Commission and approved by the Vice Minister for Youth, National Services , Sports and Culture . Namibia is represented by 38 athletes in seven sports, and athletes also take part in disabled sports.
At short notice, the cyclists Dan Craven and Lotto Petrus were removed from the list of participants.
