Agelmühle is a deserted area in the municipality of Münchsteinach in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district .
geography
The wasteland was on the Achelbach , a right tributary of the Steinach , about 200 meters west of Münchsteinach . Today, house number 18 on Bachstrasse is in its place.
history
The place was first mentioned in the municipality register in 1587.
Towards the end of the 18th century, the Agelmühle belonged to Münchsteinach. The high court was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city bailiff Neustadt an der Aisch . The property was owned by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Monastery Office Münchsteinach as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the Agelmühle was given house number 20 in Münchsteinach.
As part of the community edict, Agelmühle was assigned to the Münchsteinach tax district formed in 1811, and from 1813 it belonged to the Münchsteinach rural community . The mill was in operation until 1897, then the entire property was broken up and the property was demolished.
