Pirkachshof is a district of the community Münchsteinach in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim .

geography

Immediately to the east of the wasteland rises the Engelsbach, which is a left tributary of the Aisch . Approx. The forest area Langerstrich lies 0.5 km north of the village, approx. 1 km southwest the stone hill rises in the forest area Feistloch, approx. 0.75 km southwest lies the Mühlholz. A local road leads to Neuebersbach (0.1 km west).

The place was first mentioned in 1587 as "Birckhag".

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 2 properties in Pirkachshof. The high court was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city ​​bailiff Neustadt an der Aisch . The village and community rulership was held by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Monastery Office Münchsteinach . The landlords were the monastery office Münchsteinach (1 yard) and the manor Obersteinbach (1 half yard).

As part of the municipal edict, Pirkachshof was assigned to the Schornweisach tax district, formed in 1811, and from 1813 it belonged to the Schornweisach rural community . With the second community edict (1818) it was re- grouped into the newly formed rural community Neuebersbach . On January 1, 1972, Neuebersbach was incorporated into the Münchsteinach community.
