Ahmed Ibrahim Warsama

Ahmed Ibrahim Hashim Warsama ( Arabic أحمد إبراهيم هاشم ورسما, DMG Aḥmad Ibrāhīm Hāšim Warsamā ; * February 4, 1966 ) is a former Qatari athlete .

The long-distance runner set his personal best in 2000 with 13: 13.52 minutes in the 5000 meter run . He achieved his best time in the 10,000 meter run in 2003 when he finished the route with a time of 28: 02.8 minutes.

Ahmed Ibrahim Warsama qualified for the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul , where he competed in the 5000-meter run and 10,000-meter run. In both competitions he did not get past the first lap and finished the route in 16th place. At the 2000 Olympic Games , he competed for his home country Qatar in the 5000-meter run. Although he had improved his time by almost six seconds compared to 1988 and finished the track in 14: 00.30 minutes, he finished 14th and was eliminated again on the first lap.

At the Cross Country World Championships 2000 he started as a participant in the long distance and finished the race with 37:35 minutes in 57th place. Ahmed Ibrahim Warsama also took part in various disciplines such as 1500-meter run , 2000-meter run and 3000-meter run , but without achieving any particular success.
