Aimee Garcia (born November 28, 1978 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress .

Life

Garcia has Mexican and Puerto Rican ancestry. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Journalism and English . She had her breakthrough in 2002 in the comedy Soldat Kelly , in which she appeared on the side of Hilary Duff and Christy Carlson Romano . In 2003 and 2004 she played one of the leading roles alongside Anthony Anderson in the series All About the Andersons .

In 2006, she played the role of the evil niece of George Lopez in four episodes of The George Lopez Show . Due to the fame of the person, she was included in the last season and replaced the role of Masiela Lusha there . For this role, she was nominated for the ALMA Award and the Imagen Award in 2007. In the comedy Major Movie Star (2008) she starred alongside Keiko Agena , Katie Chonacas , Vivica A. Fox , Steve Guttenberg and Jessica Simpson .

From 2009 to 2010 she starred in the US television series Trauma and since 2016 she has played a police officer in forensics in the series Lucifer .
