Aksu ( Turkish for white water ) is a district and a district town in the center of the Turkish province of Isparta . The city is about 45 kilometers east of Isparta.

The county borders the district of Eğirdir in the north and west, the county Yenisarbademli the east and the circle Sütçüler in the south. There is a narrow border to the neighboring province of Konya in the southeast. The circle was separated from the southeastern part of the Eğirdir district and was a separate Bucak in this until then . At the last census before the change of area (1985) the Bucak counted 11,806 inhabitants, 2,341 of which were in the administrative center ( Bucak Merkezi ) Aksu.
