Keçiborlu is a small town with around 7,000 inhabitants in the southwestern Anatolian highlands of Turkey . It is the administrative center of the district of the same name in the province of Isparta and is located about 30 km northwest of the provincial capital of Isparta. Keçiborlu is touched by the D650 trunk road.

In Roman and Byzantine times the city was called Eudoxipolis . In 1204 it came under Seljuk-Turkish rule. The place received (according to the city seal) in 1907 the status of a Belediye (municipality).

The district was founded in 1948 and is bounded in the north by Uluborlu district and in the east by Gönen district . In the north-west, the Afyonkarahisar province forms the border, in the south the province of Burdur . In addition, the district extends in the south to the north shore of Lake Burdur Gölü . In addition to the district town, the district consists of Belediye Senir (2,331 inhabitants) and 14 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 358 residents. Kılıç is the largest village with 1,709 inhabitants.

The inhabitants live mainly from agriculture and services. Sulfur mining, which had been in operation since 1935, was discontinued in 1994. The Süleyman Demirel Airport is located in a circle.
