Albert Christian Heinrich von Brühl
Albert Christian Heinrich von Brühl (occasionally also: Albrecht Christian Heinrich von Brühl ; * July 11th / 12th, 1743 in Dresden ; † March 30th, 1792 in Pförten ) was a Knight of the Order of Malta , Saxon and Prussian Major General and Prussian diplomat.
Life
He was the son of the Saxon Prime Minister Heinrich von Brühl and his wife Maria Anna Franziska, née Countess von Kolowrat-Krakowsky (1717–1762).
As early as 1746 he joined the Electoral Saxon army . There he was listed as a lieutenant in the Chevaulegers regiment "Graf Brühl" in 1748 and from January 14, 1749 as a prime lieutenant . On September 29, 1750 he became a captain with his own company and rose to lieutenant colonel by the end of February 1762 . On February 11, 1763 he was assigned to the "Graf Brühl" infantry regiment , and on May 21, 1763 was promoted to colonel and chief of the regiment.
At the Saxon court, Brühl had already become chamberlain on January 1, 1757 and chamberlain on March 10, 1759. In 1764 he left the military, but was re-employed as adjutant general in 1767. In 1775 he became the commandant of the infantry regiment "Prince Maximilian", in 1783 then major general and chief of the infantry regiment "Graf Anhalt". In 1787 the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm II brought him and his brother Carl Adolph into his service and became the Prussian representative at the Bavarian court. He was also appointed major general by the king and, in 1792, chief of the von Tiedemann infantry regiment . He died shortly afterwards.
In 1762 he traveled to Naples with the archaeologist Winkelmann .

Brühl married Laura Maria Walpurgis Countess von Minucci (1759–1824) on November 11, 1780, the daughter of the Bavarian Lieutenant General Carl Adolf von Minucci and had the following children with her:
