Albert von Holleben (State Councilor)

Ludwig Albert von Holleben (born October 25, 1825 in Rudolstadt ; † March 21, 1898 in Ilten ) was a Privy Councilor of State, Chamberlain and head of the finance department of the Princely Schwarzburg Ministry .

Life

origin

Albert was a son of the Schwarzburg master hunter Anton von Holleben called von Normann (1786–1849) and his wife Ida, née von Schönberg (1803–1867). The Saxon general of the infantry Bernhard von Holleben called von Normann (1824-1897) was his older brother.

Career

Holleben studied at the universities of Jena and Göttingen and was active in the Corps Saxonia Jena and Saxonia Göttingen . He became a district court clerk and public prosecutor's assistant, later Black Burgi shear District and Government in Rudolstadt. Most recently he served as a secret councilor of state and head of the finance department of the Princely Schwarzburg Ministry, making him deputy minister. From 1867 he was a member of the Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt state parliament .
