Aldenhoven is an eastern district of the city of Jüchen in the Rhine district of Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Aldenhoven borders the Jüchener Bach and the Dycker mill in the east. Bedburdyck is the next village south of Aldenhoven . Dyck Castle is located at the north-western exit of the town .

history

Aldenhoven has belonged to the imperial rule of Dyck since the Middle Ages . In 1794 the place was occupied by French revolutionary troops. Aldenhoven now became part of the Mairie Bedburdyck in the canton of Elsen in the Arrondissement de Cologne in the Département de la Roer . Since 1815 Aldenhoven belonged to the mayor's office Bedburdyck. In 1885, 412 people lived in Aldenhoven, which is known as the village. In 1894 Aldenhoven belonged to the district court and district of Grevenbroich and to the Post Hemmerden (today part of Grevenbroich). Aldenhoven has been part of Jüchen since January 1st, 1975 .
