Aleksandra Mikulska (born November 17, 1981 in Warsaw ) is a Polish pianist living in Germany .

Life

Aleksandra Mikulska grew up in her hometown of Warsaw, where she received her first piano lessons at the age of 6. She later attended the gifted class at the Polish National Music Lycée Karol Szymanowski . Before she graduated from high school, she became aware of Peter Eicher from the Karlsruhe University of Music , who taught her from 1997. After graduating from high school, she studied with Peter Eicher at the Karlsruhe University of Music from 2000. She completed her double degree in 2004 - each with distinction - as a qualified music teacher and as a qualified musician with a major in piano.

Aleksandra Mikulska then switched to a pianistic master's degree at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, Italy . Lasar Berman , Boris Petrushansky as well as Michel Dalberto became their most important initiators there. After graduating with honors, Mikulska was appointed to Arie Vardi's master class at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media , where she completed her pianistic training and passed her concert exam in 2010.

Mikulska attended numerous master classes , including a. with Lev Natochenny , Andrzej Jasiński , Kevin Kenner and Diane Andersen. She has received grants from the Polish Prime Minister and the Alfred Toepfer Foundation FVS

Aleksandra Mikulska was invited to concerts at the Wiener Musikverein , the Brucknerhaus Linz, the Tonhalle Zürich , the Philharmonie Essen , the Nikolaisaal Potsdam, the Kurhaus Wiesbaden , the Münchner Künstlerhaus and the National Philharmonic Warsaw .

She has performed at international festivals such as the MDR Music Summer , the Liszt Festival Raiding , the Styriarte , the Bodensee Festival , the Usedom Music Festival , the Brandenburg Summer Concerts , the Hohenlohe Cultural Summer, the festival Murten Classics, the pianist Festival Böblingen , the Bayreuth Easter Festival , the Chopin Festival in Gaming and the Maulbronn Monastery Concerts .

Mikuslka is particularly dedicated to the compositions of Frédéric Chopin . As President of the Chopin Society in the Federal Republic of Germany, she is committed to preserving and promoting the music of Frédéric Chopin. Aleksandra Mikulska is a Bösendorfer artist.
