Alewtina Valerjewna Biktimirowa ( Russian Алевтина Валерьевна Биктимирова , English transcription Alevtina Biktimirova ; born September 10, 1982 in Cheboksary ) is a Russian marathon runner .

In 2004 she finished second in the Ottawa Marathon . In 2005 she took the same place at the Turin Marathon and set the current (2008) course record at the Frankfurt Marathon with 2:25:12 h, which is also her personal best.

She finished sixth in the 2006 European Athletics Championships marathon , after finishing in the same place in the Boston Marathon earlier that year .

In 2007 she was third in the Rotterdam Marathon and the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and won the Honolulu Marathon , in which she was second the previous year.

In 2008, she was beaten by two seconds by Dire Tune in the tightest finish in the history of women's races at the Boston Marathon . She also finished second in the Chicago Marathon and fifth in Honolulu.

A fourth place at the Tokyo Marathon 2009 was followed by a ninth place at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin , where she won bronze in the team classification of the Marathon World Cup together with Nailja Julamanowa and Svetlana Sacharowa .

In 2010 she won the Tokyo Marathon.

Alewtina Biktimirowa is 1.63 m tall, weighs 52 kg and is trained by Albina Mefodjewa.
