Alexander Koll (* 1980 in Eschweiler ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Alexander Koll discovered his love for acting in a literary group at the municipal high school in Eschweiler . After completing his community service and a 6-month stay in Australia, Koll began to study economics and economic geography , which he gave up after just one semester. Koll then completed an internship at the Theater Aachen before he began studying at the Rostock University of Music and Drama in September 2003 , which he graduated with a diploma in 2007. In 2005, Koll had played one of his first roles in the role of Demetrius in William Shakespeare's Midsummer Night 's Dream at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin . From 2007 to 2014 he had a permanent engagement at Theater Augsburg . Here he was, among others, Sigismund Sülzheimer in the operetta Im Weißen Rößl by Ralph Benatzky , Duke Orsino in the Shakespeare comedy What you want , Jonathan Brewster in arsenic and lace cap by Joseph Kesselring and Colonel Kottwitz in Prince Friedrich von Homburg by Heinrich von Kleist .

Alexander Koll has been working for film and television since the end of the 2000s. He played in the first 111 episodes of the series Die Anrheiner as Commissioner Michael Sommer , had guest roles in other series such as SOKO Cologne and Mein Leben & Ich and was seen in various episodes of the comedy series Knallerfrauen alongside Martina Hill . In addition, Koll worked in some radio play productions of the West German Broadcasting Company .

In 2006 Alexander Koll received a solo award at the German drama school meeting in Munich. He lives in Aachen. At the beginning of the 2018 season, Alexander Koll took on the role of Klaus Störtebeker at the Störtebeker Festival on the natural stage in Ralswiek , which he gave up again in January 2020.
