Alexandra Scheld (born October 25, 1981 in Siegen ) is a German table tennis player and former youth national player. She became three times German champion in women's doubles and once in mixed doubles. In 2008 she was third at the German Championships and is a six-time West German individual champion.

Career

The Niederdielfenerin Scheldt, from the youth of the TSG Adler Dielfen comes and later for TG Friesen Klafeld-Geisweid (Regional until 1997), Assistance Coesfeld (1997-2000), SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen (2000-2005) and TTC Spich / TTC Troisdorf (2005-2007) was active, has been playing at TuS Uentrop in the second division since 2007 , with which she was able to occupy third place in the final table in the 2009/10 season. In the 2011/2012 and 2015/2016 seasons she was each with the team of TuS Uentrop champion. The club has not exercised the right to promotion to the 1st Bundesliga, so that they continue to play in the second Bundesliga. In 2020 'Alexandra Scheld resigned from the Uentrop Association.

When she was six, Alexandra Scheld began playing table tennis and tennis. Later she concentrated on the sport of table tennis. She was sponsored by the trainers Stephan Schulte-Kellinghaus (club) and Dirk Huber ( WTTV ). Her first national success came in 1996 when she won the West German championship for female students. In 1997 she won the WTTV women's ranking tournament.

After graduating from high school, Scheld began studying at the University of Siegen, which she completed in 2008 with a degree in business law. She is now working for the Caritas Association in Olpe and also lives there.
