Alexandra Szarvas (born September 7, 1992 ) is a former Hungarian soccer player who is under contract with the Swiss first division club FC Basel .

Szarvas started at Fót Sportegyesület at the age of eleven , played two years each for Gödöllő Goliath DSE and in the women's football division of Ferencváros Budapest . In 2007 she made the leap to the first team, for which she was used 22 times and scored a goal in the Nemzeti Bajnokság , the first Hungarian league. She made her professional debut on October 31, 2007 (4th matchday) in the 2: 3 defeat in the home game against Viktória FC-Szombathely ; she scored her only goal for the club on June 15, 2008 (26th matchday) in the 6-1 defeat in the away game against 1. FC Femina with the goal of the interim 1-1 in the 52nd minute.

In 2008 she moved to league rivals Viktória FC-Szombathely , for whom she played 79 league games in three seasons and scored 51 goals. She made her debut for her new club on August 17, 2008 (1st matchday) in a 1-0 home win against MTK Budapest FC , when she came on for Eszter Kovács in the 59th minute . Her first of eight goals in 28 league games she scored on August 24, 2008 (3rd matchday) in a 9-0 win in the away game against the PVSK from Pécs . In the following season she played again 28 league games, scoring an astonishing 27 goals and also knew how to convince in the 2010/11 season with 16 goals in 23 league games (including the eight play-off games).

Germany

Szarvas, used in the two games of the sixteenth-finals of the 2009/10 UEFA Women's Champions League against FC Bayern Munich, caught the attention of the Bundesliga club, who invited them to a one-week test training session in July 2011 and signed them at the start of the 2011/12 season . On September 4, 2011 (2nd matchday), she made her debut for the 2nd team in a 3: 3 draw in the away game against 1. FFC Frankfurt II . With the 3-2 winning goal in the 84th minute on September 30, 2012 (4th matchday) in the home game against SC Freiburg , she scored her first Bundesliga goal. On May 12, 2013, she was adopted by VfL Sindelfingen in the last Bundesliga game and left the club.

Switzerland

In July 2013 Szarvas joined the Swiss national division SC Kriens . She made her debut on August 6, 2013 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the home game against FC Yverdon Féminin at the side of her former Munich players Nicole Banecki and Sarah Puntigam . She scored her first goal on August 20, 2013 (4th matchday) in a 5-1 win in the away game against Grasshopper Club Zurich with the goal to make it 2-0 in the 32nd minute.

For the 2014/15 season, she switched to league rivals FC Basel , for whom she was on August 24, 2014 (5th matchday) - in a 4-0 home win against Grasshopper Club Zurich with a substitution for Samira Susuri in the 57th minute - debuted. She scored her first league goal on November 2, 2014 (11th matchday) in a 3-1 win in the away game against the women's football department of BSC Young Boys with the goal of the interim 1: 1 in the 49th minute.

National team

Szarvas made her debut in the national jersey on October 20, 2007, when she was successful with the U-17 selection in the first qualifying round for the U-17 European Championship 6-0 over the selection of Croatia. On April 11, 2009, she was used in the 6-0 defeat against Germany in Sopron .
