Alexandrowskoje ( Russian Алекса́ндровское ) is a village (selo) in Tomsk Oblast in Russia with 7211 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The place is about 600 km as the crow flies northwest of the Tomsk Oblast Administrative Center and almost 40 km south-southeast of the city of Streschewoi in the West Siberian lowlands . It is located on the left bank of the Ob , which is over 2 km wide with several arms.
Aleksandrovskoe is the administrative center of the Rajons Alexandrovsky and seat of the rural community Aleksandrovskoe selskoje posselenije, also includes the 15 km northwest located also on the left bank of the Ob village Larino to.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1826 as a Khanty camp site with the Russian name form Nizhneye Lumpokolskoje . In addition, the Russian name Alexandrowskoje became common in the 19th century , which became official with a resolution of March 28, 1924. Since November 1923 Alexandrowskoye has been the administrative seat of a raion named after him. There was a significant increase in population in the 1930s due to forced resettlements during the Stalinist repression, beginning with the " deculacization ", and again in the 1960s in connection with the beginning of oil development in the area.

Alexandrovskoye has not yet been directly connected to the year-round road network, especially in the direction of the central and southern part of Tomsk Oblast ( a winter slope leads to the neighboring district center of Kargassok to the southeast, 230 km away ). Slopes run from Alexandrowskoje to the oil production areas in the western part of the Rajons and back to the left bank of the Ob about 15 km below Streschewoi; There a car ferry crosses the river, along the right side of which a road leads from Streschewoi into the autonomous district of Khanty and Mansi / Ugra in the direction of Nizhnevartovsk .
