Alhassane "Lass" Bangoura (born March 30, 1992 in Conakry ) is a Guinean football player who is under contract with Rayo Vallecano .

Club career

In 2010 Lass Bangoura was signed as a youth player by the Spanish capital club and then second division club Rayo Vallecano . On March 27, 2011, the 18-year-old striker from Guinea made his first appearance for the professional team in the 1-0 win over Betis Sevilla . He was substituted on ten minutes before the end of the game. This was followed by three more missions until the end of the season and promotion to the Primera División . Due to good performances, the African won a permanent place on the right wing and was part of the Vallecano team for a long time. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, his club loaned three new wingers: the Mexican Javier Aquino from Villarreal , the Portuguese Licá from FC Porto and the French Gaël Kakuta from Chelsea . In addition, another player was signed on with Àlex Moreno from RCD Mallorca’s reserve . Bangoura could not prevail against the many competitors and had to sit almost exclusively in the stands in the first half of the season. As a result, he was awarded to the bottom of the table in Granada FC during the winter break in order to regain match practice.

National team

Lass Bangoura was a member of the Guinean U-17 national team at the U-17 African Cup of Nations in 2009. Two years later, he made his debut for the men 's national team at the age of 19 . At the 2012 African Cup of Nations, he played all three games for the Guinea team that was eliminated in the group stage.
