Emiliano Velázquez , full name Emiliano Daniel Velázquez Maldonado (born April 30, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.77 meter tall defender Velázquez has been in the first division team of Danubios at least since the Clausura 2012 . In this half-series he has been used in the Primera División . In the following season 2012/13 he played 24 games, each time in the starting line-up. In the 2013/14 season he contributed as a regular player, including the season finals, with 32 other first division matches and two goals scored to win the 2013 Torneo Apertura and the Uruguayan championship. That season he was named the best defender in the Uruguayan league, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca . On August 26, 2014, his move to Atlético Madrid was announced, where he was awarded a five-year contract. National team
