The Alibijaban Wilderness Area is located on the island of Alibijaban, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines . It was established on December 29, 1981 on an area of 4.30 km² in the province of Quezon and belongs to the municipality of San Andres . The nature reserve is located on the island of Alibijaban, which is east of the Bondoc Peninsula in the Gulf of Ragay . The island is inhabited and can be reached after a twenty minute boat ride.
The nature reserve is about 310 km southeast of Manila . The climate on the island is humid and warm without a pronounced dry period. Most precipitation falls from October to December, the driest months are April and May. The island's topography has a hilly character, with gradients reaching up to 18%.
On the island including the coming Asian Water Monitor ( Varanus Salvator ) Tricoloured Munia ( Lonchura malacca ), the Pied Imperial Pigeon ( Ducula bicolor ), the jungle crow ( Corvus macrorhynchos ), the Night Heron ( Nycticorax nycticorax ) ago.
