Alkersdorf is a village in the market town of Hernstein in Lower Austria with 64 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).

Alkersdorf is located southwest of Hernstein. It is equated by some with Arnoldsdorf , which was deserted around 1500 (but others associate it with Aigen (Hernstein municipality) ). Around 1835 the place consisted of seven houses. Since the area is very rich in wood, the main occupation of the inhabitants used to be the sale of wood and charcoal .
