Allan Corduner (born April 2, 1950 in Stockholm , Sweden ) is a British film and theater actor .

Life

Allan Corduner was born to a German mother - she had to leave Berlin and thus Nazi Germany as a Jew in 1938 - and a Finnish-Russian father in Stockholm. He has a younger brother. At the age of one, Corduner moved to London with his family . Corduner is a British citizen.

He graduated from college in the London Borough of Camden , was a student at Bristol University and most recently at the Bristol Old Vic Theater School . He is also a trained jazz pianist. After completing his studies, he had engagements at several British stages, first at the Newcastle Repertory Theater. Further appearances followed at the Birmingham Rep and the Actors' Company. He made his stage debut in London in the West End in Mary O'Maley's play Once a Catholic at Wyndham's Theater . Cordumer played several times at the Royal Court Theater . In 1997 and March 1999 he played steward Henry Etches in the musical Titanic on Broadway in New York City .

Allan Corduner is homosexual and lives in a relationship with the Finnish actor Juha Leppäjärvi.
