The Alpen Wildlife Park Feld am See is a wildlife park with an attached museum . It is located in the Umgebung Valley north of the Ossiacher See or north of Villach in Carinthia , Austria , in the municipality of Feld am See am Brennsee near the winter sports resort Bad Kleinkirchheim .

history

The Alpenwildpark field at the lake was created from a Damwildzucht the farmer Josef Scherzer sen., Which soon deer and mouflon has been extended. For families, child-friendly caves and video rooms with films about wild animals have been designed in the “Naturstadel” .

In 2013 the petting zoo was redesigned. A western saloon and a dragon cave for families with children were added.

In 2014 the excursion destination Alpen Wildpark Feld am See was awarded the seal of approval of the state of Carinthia.
