history

The Marie pheasant was a forester's house in Gutsbezirk built Muckwar. It was probably built at the beginning of the 20th century; no forestry in Muckwar was mentioned before. At first, Marienfasanerie belonged to the district of Calau in the Prussian province of Brandenburg . On September 30, 1928, the Muckwar manor was dissolved and the Marienfasanerie was incorporated into the rural community. After the Second World War , the municipality of Muckwar and its districts initially remained in the Calau district, which was renamed Senftenberg in 1950. On July 25, 1952, the Senftenberg district was dissolved as part of the GDR district reform and the Försterei Marienfasanerie settlement came to the district of Calau in the Cottbus district .

The official place name was later changed to Alte Försterei . After reunification , the settlement belonged to the district of Calau in Brandenburg, which was dissolved in December 1993 in the new district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz . On March 31, 2002, the municipality of Muckwar merged with three other municipalities to form the new municipality of Luckaitztal .
