Altenreith is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Gaming in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 125 building areas with 53,357 m² and 66 gardens on 146,800 m² in the cadastral community of Altenreith; In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 295 and in 2009/2010 there were 181 buildings on 330 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 416 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 956 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 383 hectares and 986 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 355 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 993 hectares. The average soil climate of Altenreith is 18.3 (as of 2010).
