Kienberg is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Gaming in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 185 building areas with 62,197 m² and 90 gardens on 84,164 m² in the cadastral community of Kienberg , in 1989/1990 there were 228 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 451 and in 2009/2010 there were 258 buildings on 465 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 192 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 667 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 172 hectares and 678 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 148 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 686 hectares. The average soil climate number of Kienberg is 21.3 (as of 2010).
