Altheimersberg is a district of the municipality Langenaltheim in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The hamlet is at an altitude of around 552 meters above sea level and has 11 inhabitants (as of 1987).
The place is located in the south of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in the Altmühltal nature park , north of Langenaltheim in a forest in the Weißenburger Alb , a mountain range of the Franconian Alb . A road connects the place with Langenaltheim and a quarry to the north. All the buildings were Altheimer mountain from the Bavarian State Conservation Office under number D-5-77-148-30 as former cardboard domestic domain as a monument to the Bavarian monument list entered.
In 1846 there were two houses, four families and 25 souls in Altheimersberg . In 1875 the 20 residents lived in 12 buildings. They owned a total of 4 horses and 24 head of cattle. Even before the municipal reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Altheimersberg was a district of Langenaltheim.
