Neuherberg is a district of the municipality of Langenaltheim in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The desert is at an altitude of around 508 meters above sea level and has 2 inhabitants (as of 1987).
The place is located in the south of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in the Altmühltal nature park , northwest of Langenaltheim on a meadow north of a forest edge in the Weißenburger Alb , a ridge of the Franconian Alb . The Zwerchgraben rises nearby . To the east lies the town of Höfen , to the west Rehlingen . A road connects the place with the surrounding places and the state road 2217 . Bundesstraße 2 runs to the south . The former street inn and stable house with the address Neuherberg 1, Jura houses built in the 18th century, were registered by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation under the number D-5-77-148-53 as a monument in the Bavarian list of monuments. There is another place within the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district with the same name: Neuherberg , part of the nearby community of Pfofeld .
In 1846 there were two houses, three families and eight souls in Neuherberg . In 1875 the eight residents lived in three buildings. They owned a total of two head of cattle. Before the municipal reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Neuherberg was a district of Haag near Treuchtlingen .
