Amber Smith (born March 2, 1971 in Tampa , Florida ) is an American actress and model .

Life

Amber Smith was the only child of NFL player Russell Smith and model Carol Smith. She followed in her mother's footsteps when she started her modeling career at age 15. She started doing advertisements in local newspapers and weekly fashion shows at the Holiday Inn.

Just before she turned 16, she went to Paris and worked as a model for 4 years. Her breakthrough came when her blonde hair was dyed red, which made her look a lot like Rita Hayworth . Smith was featured in many magazines and became the first Wonderbra model.

Smith has graced the covers of relevant fashion magazines such as B. Vogue , Elle , Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire as well as Playboy . This was followed by advertising appearances for L'Oreal , Buffalo Jeans, Camel , Volkswagen and Panama Jack . On the catwalk she presented fashion from Chanel and Jean-Paul Gaultier, among others .

In the psychological horror film Dead End , she played the white woman who was picked up in a forest by a family at night, confused, without knowing that this would mean the death of the family. Smith took part in the second season of the reality TV show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew participated and was escorted during a drug rehab.
