Anbu Khaireni ( Nepali आँबु खैरेनी ) is a city ( municipality ) in central Nepal in the Tanahu district .

Anbu Khaireni lies on the west bank of the Marsyangdi opposite the confluence of the Daraudi . The mouth of the Marsyangdi into the Trishuli is about 7 km away.

The Village Development Committee (VDC) Anbu Khaireni was granted city rights in September 2015. The urban area covers 67.3 km².

Anbu Khaireni is located on the Prithvi Rajmarg , the country road from Kathmandu to Pokhara . In Anbu Khaireni a road branches off to Gorkha .

At the 2011 census, Anbu Khaireni had 16,382 inhabitants (of which 7,573 male) in 4,034 households.
