Amphoe Wang Saphung ( Thai : อำเภอ วังสะพุง , pronunciation: ʔāmpʰɤ̄ː wāŋ sā.pʰūŋ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the province of Loei . The province of Loei is located in the western part of the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

geography

Neighboring counties and areas are (clockwise from north): Amphoe Mueang Loei , Erawan , Pha Khao , Nong Hin , Phu Luang, and Phu Ruea . All Amphoe are in the Loei Province.

The main river in the county is the Mae Nam Loei (Loei River) . In the west of the district is the Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary .

Agriculture and trade in the original sense with the simplest tools; slow upswing through cultivation of rubber trees and harvesting of natural rubber .

history

Khwaeng Wang Saphung was a city within Mueang Lom Sak. On January 4, 1907, she wassubordinatedto the administration of Mueang Loei.
