Angermünde-Land Office

The Office Angermünde country was formed in 1992 Office in Brandenburg, in the 22 municipalities in the former circles Angermünde and Eberswalde (today Uckermark , Brandenburg ) had formed a management group. On July 9, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Angermünde-Land office. July 21, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office had its seat in the city of Angermünde and initially consisted of 22 communities in the districts of Angermünde and Eberswalde :

On December 31, 2001, the Altkünkendorf community was incorporated into the city of Angermünde. On December 7, 2001, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg announced that the merger of the Gramzow, Lützlow and Meichow municipalities of the Gramzow office and the Polßen municipality (Angermünde-Land office) had been approved to form the new Gramzow municipality on December 31, 2001. The municipality of Polßen thus left the Angermünde-Land office.

On March 12, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the incorporation of the municipalities of Bölkendorf, Bruchhagen, Crussow, Frauenhagen, Gellmersdorf, Görlsdorf, Greiffenberg, Günterberg, Herzsprung, Kerkow, Mürow, Neukünkendorf, Schmargendorf, Schmiedeberg, Steinhöfel, Stolpe / Oder , Welsow, Wilmersdorf and Wolletz to the city of Angermünde. However, the incorporations only became legally effective on October 26, 2003.

The official municipality of Biesenbrow was incorporated into the city of Angermünde by law on October 26, 2003, and the Angermünde-Land office was dissolved. The municipality of Biesenbrow lodged a municipal constitutional complaint (VfGBbg 117/03, 112/03 EA) with the constitutional court of the state of Brandenburg, which, however, was rejected.
