The Gramzow Office is an office in Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which 14 communities from the then Prenzlau district (now in the Uckermark district ) had initially merged to form an administrative association . The seat of the official administration is the municipality of Gramzow . As a result of congregations merging and changing from congregations to other offices, the number of officially affiliated congregations has been reduced to six.

Geographical location

The Gramzow office is located in the middle of the Uckermark district in Brandenburg and borders the city of Prenzlau to the west, the Brüssow office (Uckermark) to the north, the Gartz office (Oder) to the east and the city of Angermünde to the south .

The Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the creation of the Gramzow Office on June 18, 1992. June 23, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The municipality of Gramzow was designated as the seat of the office. The Gramzow office initially consisted of 14 communities in what was then the Prenzlau district :

On October 5, 2001, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg announced that the municipality of Grünow in the Prenzlau-Land office would move to the Gramzow office with effect from November 1, 2001. From November 1, 2001, the Gramzow office consisted of the following communities: Bertikow, Grünow, Seehausen, Bietikow, Hohengüstow, Warnitz, Blankenburg, Lützlow, Ziemkendorf, Eickstedt, Meichow, Gramzow and Falkenwalde, Potzlow and Schmölln.

On December 7, 2001, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg announced that the merger of the municipalities of Blankenburg, Potzlow, Seehausen and Warnitz to form the new municipality of Oberuckersee, the merger of the municipalities of Bertikow, Bietikow, Falkenwalde and Hohengüstow to form the new municipality of Uckerfelde, the merger of the municipalities of Eickstedt, Schmölln and Ziemkendorf to form the new municipality of Randowtal and also the merger of the municipalities of Gramzow, Lützlow and Meichow of the Gramzow office and the Polßen municipality ( Angermünde-Land office ) to form the new Gramzow municipality on December 31, 2001. The Gramzow office thus consisted of the communities Gramzow, Grünow, Oberuckersee, Randowtal and Uckerfelde from December 31, 2001.

On February 28, 2002, the community Zichow moved from the Office Oder-Welse to the Office Gramzow. Thus the office had six official municipalities.
