history

The office was formed in 1948 after the administrative districts were dissolved from the communities of Grabau, Meddewade, Neritz, Pölitz, Rethwisch, Rethwischfeld, Rohlfshagen, Rümpel, Schlamersdorf, Schulenburg, Sehmsdorf, Sühlen and Tralau. Since then, the administrative office has been in Bad Oldesloe , which itself does not belong to the office.

As part of the municipal reorganization in the 1970s, individual municipalities were incorporated into Bad Oldesloe, other municipalities merged and parts of the former Mollhagen office were incorporated .
