Until 1927 it was called the mayor's office of Irsch-Schöndorf , which emerged from the mayor's offices of Irsch and Schöndorf at the end of the 19th century .

In 1934, the Waldrach office in Ruwer was formed from parts of the Irsch-Schöndorf office, the Farschweiler office and the Ruwer office .
